She was born on 15 November 1990 in Agra Uttar Pradesh in India in a Hindu Jatt Family. Her father name is Lokendra Singh Chahar a retired Air force officer and mother Pushpa Chahar and a brother and cricketer Deepak Chahar 8n her family.
She completed her schooling from Kendriya vidyalaya Agra and graduation in software engineering from Institute of engineering and technology from Lucknow.
During her college Malti also participate in many cultural programmes and worked as model for various brands.
She won the beauty pageant Miss India earth 2009 and second runner up of Miss India 2014.
Malti chahar came in limelight to cheering IPL cricket team Chennai Super King and she has crush on Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
