- After completing her schooling Mouni came in Delhi for higher study and taken admission in Mass Communication in Jamia Milliya Islamia, but she did not completed that and went to Mumbai.
- In 2004 Mouni appeared in the film Run as background dancer in the Song Nahi Hona.
- Mouni Roy started her carrier as TV actress from the TV seriel Kyunki Sas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2007.
- Mouni roy made her acting debut in Bollywood from the movie Gold in 2018 along with Akshay Kumar.
