Dia Mirza is an Indian film actress, model and film producer.
She was born as Dia Handrich on 9 December 1981 in Hyderabad. Her father Frank Handrich was a German graphics and industrial fair designer and mother Deepa is a Bengali interior designer.
When Dia was just 5 years old her parents were divorced and after her mother married Ahmad Mirza she become Dia Mirza.
After completing her schooling Dia started modeling and she modeled for print and TV commercial brand like Imami, Liptons, Wall’s Ice Cream etc.
Dia Mirza made her acting debut in Bollywood from the film “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” in 2001.
She was the second runnerup for Femina Miss India 2000 and also won Femina Miss India Pacific 2000.
Dia Mirza get married with her long time boyfriend Sahil Sangha in 2014.
